Why TGC Learn?
The purpose of TGC Learn is to provide free and accessible courses for Christians around the world with a variety of educational levels curated in cooperation with churches and institutions of Christian higher education.
Our purpose makes the way we deliver content unique in at least four ways:
- Free rather than Paid: TGC Learn is funded by grants and other revenue streams so it can be provided to the global Church at no cost.
- Curated rather than Static: TGC Learn has an extensive team of volunteer curators and overseers who assist us in keeping content fresh and reliable.
- Accessible rather than Isolated: The content on TGC Learn is designed to be shared and easily discovered. We will keep it login-free for the easiest level of access. If you want a way to track your learning, we recommend a free resource available at degreed.com that will help you keep track of your learning on our site and any others you may use.
- Assisting rather than Competing: We don’t see ourselves as competitors to institutions of Christian higher education. We don’t offer courses for credit. Instead, we cooperate with a number of colleges and seminaries to present their material in a way that highlights the quality content they have to offer the Church.
