James R. Payton, Jr.

James R. Payton, Jr., is Professor of Patristics and Historical Theology and (with Dr. Don Springer) Co-Director of the Centre for Patristics and Early Christianity at McMaster Divinity College. Jim has published six books, two of them in Patristics: Irenaeus on the Christian Faith: A Condensation of “Against Heresies” (Pickwick Publications, 2011) and A Patristic Treasury: Early Church Wisdom for Today (Ancient Faith Publishing, 2013).
