November 18, 2024 – The Council of TGC Canada would like to announce that we have appointed Dwayne Cline as interim executive director of The Gospel Coalition Canada. He will lead TGC through this next season of growth in a part time capacity.
‘It is humbling to be asked to serve TGC Canada in this season. The Lord has used the ministry of TGC Canada and TGC to enrich my ministry, preaching and leadership. I’m thankful for the godly men I’ve had the privilege to serve alongside the Council and look forward to serving TGC Canada in this capacity as we continue to provide gospel-centred resources and conferences that equip the church for its mission in journeying with believers as they grow in their faith while reaching Canada with the gospel.’
Dwayne Cline served as the lead pastor of James North Baptist Church in downtown Hamilton for 28 years He has been involved with TGC for over 18 years and has been the Chair of TGC Ontario as well as a Council member of TGC Canada.
After over eight years of serving as TGC Canada’s Executive Director, Dr. Wyatt Graham will continue as the Editor in Chief for TGC Canada in a part-time role. The TGC Canada Council is grateful for Wyatt’s leadership and rich contributions. Wyatt also serves as the Executive Director of the Davenant Institute in a part time capacity.
TGC Canada is excited to bring gospel centered content and conferences across our nation as we strengthen gospel centered partnerships from the Eastern shores of Newfoundland to the Western shores of Vancouver Island. May God graciously and providentially lead us in this next chapter.
