In this episode, we discuss the first five chapters of Calvin’s institutes. We focus on how we know God and ourselves. According to Calvin, God has implanted within us a seed of religion. All people can know God by looking outward and inward. When they do, we see God clearly. But men refuse to believe. That does not mean that un-regenerate persons cannot say anything true about the world and of God. Rather, it means they cannot tie religion to piety, which means true worship of God.
